Dr. Raphael F. Iluyomade, Senior Pastor
New Beginnings Ministries.
Pastor Raphael Iluyomade was called to serve at New Beginnings Ministries (NBM) in July 2021. He and his wife Katherine Kehinde Iluyomade are serving the vibrant, multicultural, and diverse NBM congregation under the covenant of God’s spoken word (Rhema) in Psalm 23: 6 “surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever”.
Pastor Raphael came to faith in Jesus Christ in 1989 and received the call to ministry in 1996. He loves the Lord who delivered him from sin and darkness. Having found peace with God and himself after his conversion experience at the age of 20, Pastor Raphael believes that the only reason, why he is alive is to teach people how to find peace with God and themselves.
Pastor Raphael is anointed to turn men and women from “darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith” in Christ Jesus. Acts 26: 18.
Pastor Raphael completed a Master of Divinity degree in good standing at the Acadia Divinity College, Nova Scotia, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Ondo State University, Nigeria, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Lagos State University, Nigeria, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the National University of Singapore. He did his post-graduate education diploma at Purdue
University, USA., focusing on Gifted, Creative, and Talented Education. He also has a Diploma from Faith Bible Institute, Indiana, USA.
Pastor Raphael and his wife have lived and worked in Africa, Asia, and North America. He is a gifted speaker with a deep sense of respect for culturally diverse people and seeks opportunities for them to thrive together under the breath of God’s Holy Spirit. At the very heart of Pastor Raphael is the fulfillment of Christ’s commission for the communities.
Pastor Raphael and Sister Katherine are blessed with three children: Gift, Fiona, and Eliana.
