Our Core Beliefs
God:
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. God has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God. There is one true and living, an infinite Spirit, self-existent, omnipresent, omniscient, good, wise, just and sovereign of the universe. God is inexpressively glorious in holiness, and worthy of all honour, confidence, and love. In the Godhead there are three persons in one: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are equal in every divine perfection, and who
execute distinct but harmonious office in the great work of redemption.
Jesus Christ:
Jesus is co-equal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return someday to earth to reign as King. He is the world’s redeemer and the Savior of all who believe. He is at present, the intercessor of all His people at the right hand of the Father, and is to be the judge of all men.
The Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity, by whom all saving, comforting, and sanctifying power is exerted upon human hearts. The Holy Spirit lives in each Christian from salvation. The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. The Spirit is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. The Spirit provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Spirit gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.
The Bible:
The Bible is God’s Word to us. The Bible was written by human authors, under the
supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian
beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, its truth is without error.
Salvation:
Salvation is God’s free gift to us. We can never make up for our sins by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life in Christ begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
Atonement:
The perfect life, vicarious death (performed or suffered in place of another), and resurrection of Jesus Christ, have removed the obstacles in the way of the Holy Spirit’s regenerating power and of the Father’s forgiving grace being extended to the sinner, and constitute for every believing soul on all prevailing plea and sufficient ground for righteousness before God.
Baptism:
Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ through immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to “fulfill all righteousness.”

Prayer of Salvation
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my
life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
